Weight loss

If you struggle with losing weight or sticking to a diet, you’re probably sick of being told that eating less and moving more is all you need to do. If only it was that simple.

The world around us is designed to make us eat more of the wrong food, and then feel bad about it. Two million years of evolution have designed our bodies to eat as much high-energy food as possible whenever it’s available. Add to that any emotional problems we might have with eating, a lack of time to prepare food, a lack of knowledge on how to do it and a limited income and you have a perfect recipe for an obesity epidemic.

It’s not your fault. Diets don’t work because they don’t address the underlying cause of unhealthy eating: all the above. In addition to these factors, you could be up against a hormone, mineral or vitamin imbalance that makes it even harder to lose weight and keep it off.

By working together to find out and address the reasons for your weight gain, you can fall in love with good food. I create recipes, meal plans and shopping lists to fit around your and your family’s favourite foods, and your budget.
