IBS and
gut health
Our health relies upon our digestion. If we’re not digesting our food properly, the knock-on effects can show up almost anywhere else. Allergies, arthritis, autoimmune conditions, acne, chronic fatigue, mental health disorders, intolerances, autism and countless other conditions all have proven links to a dysfunctional gut. Supporting gut health is a part of almost every client’s plan.
IBS symptoms are one of the most common reasons for a GP visit, and a GP should always be your first port of call. However, doctors can’t always fully explore the reason you have diarrhoea, constipation, bloating or pain – and you get a diagnosis of IBS. There are endless reasons why you could be suffering from digestive distress. Being diagnosed with IBS should be the beginning of your quest for healing, not the end. Once any serious medical condition has been ruled out by your doctor, we can explore how you got here, and how you could find a way back to health.
